2016 NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION AGAINST BULLYING AND VIOLENCE IS FRIDAY 18 MARCH
2016 NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION AGAINST BULLYING AND VIOLENCE IS FRIDAY 18 MARCH
As part of a whole school initiative and to reinforce the already fantastic stand we all make against bullying and violence in our society, you are all most welcome to sign your name on one of 4 stretched canvases. These are available to sign either with Mrs Baren or myself and we have 2 each. Due to student exams and Year 9 camp and other excursions these can be signed anytime until Friday 18 March at 3.00 pm.
If you commit to taking a stand against bullying and violence, then you are most welcome to sign the canvas.
After Friday we will hang these canvases in the school. For example one will be hung in Middle School.
We have purchased wristbands for the students to wear from Wednesday 16 March to Wednesday 23 March. They will handed out to teachers to give to their classes.
Mrs Baren and the Primary School will be doing activities on Friday.
At St Luke's, we have a very supportive culture of standing up against bullying and violence and we would like that to continue.

SLEEPERS AND STUDS - GOLD OR SILVER
SLEEPERS AND STUDS - GOLD OR SILVER
I spoke on Assembly about this. Girls can wear a small plain pair of sleepers or studs (gold or silver) of even thickness in the lowest hole in their earlobe.
Boys are not permitted to wear ear jewellery of any kind.
The Uniform Shop has sleepers and studs for sale from $10.95 to $14.95 and they tell me they are the same price as at Chemist Warehouse in town.
Please support this uniform rule.
