ADF Workshop in Brisbane on Monday...From the Careers Desk - Peter Robinson

From the Careers Desk - Peter Robinson

ADF Workshop in Brisbane on Monday.

I was lucky enough to attend a Australian Defence Force (ADF) workshop in Brisbane on Monday this week. The ADF staff were very impressive. The session focussed around helping Careers staff at schools to help students understand and navigate the many roles in the ADF.

It was also about explaining the lengthy process of the application, how to get started and many ways in which the ADF can assist getting the right people in the right roles.
The many sessions included
  1. The application process including the YOU Session and many ways to enter the ADF
  2. The website and navigating this site
  3. ADFA and who they are looking for
  4. Trades in the ADF
  5. Work Experience in the ADF - http://www.defence.gov.au/workexperience/

If your interested in work experience with the ADF - go to

  1. Indigenous in the ADF and how they help
  2. Women in the ADF and how they help

  1. Defence University Sponsorship

If you are looking for a World Class Career, with Training, Education, Job Variety, Career Growth with Opportunities and Challenges then please consider the ADF

If you are thinking of a Career in the ADF, please come and see me and before you attend this meeting with me - please check out the ADF website -  http://www.defencejobs.gov.au/

It was an excellent experience and I was very impressed with the staff at Defence Jobs Recruiting. This will help me to help the students and families at St Luke’s.

Thanks
Peter Robinson
