When your students begin their studies at UQ, they will have access to the Student Employability Centre (SEC) at the St Lucia campus.
The SEC promotes and coordinates a number of initiatives that seek to strengthen the range of global, professional and leadership experiences offered to students.
Our goal is to maximise the student experience and enhance student employability by providing access to a range of experiences. We encourage students to engage with: undergraduate research programs; student leadership activities; UQ Advantage Employability Award; student exchange program and short-term global experiences.
We provide financial assistance to help students to access these experiences, and provide careers support to assist students in transferring these experiences into the workplace.
Our team is happy to address your Year 12 students about employability next time they visit the St Lucia campus.
