WANTED: Student Ambassadors

Welcome back to Term 2! We hope you had a fantastic Easter break. The Tertiary Studies Expo (TSXPO) will return again on July 15 and July 16, 2017 at the Royal International Convention Centre, Brisbane Showgrounds. In a TSXPO first, we are looking for Australian students to represent their respected schools (as well as TSXPO) as Student Ambassadors. We ask for your assistance in spreading the word amongst your school network. Please forward this email to any students who may be interested in the opportunity - especially those interested in marketing, media, PR, advertising or communications. To access the competition poster for distribution and further competition details (including Terms and Conditions) please click the link below.  Please note a couple of the key points: Entries open 9:00am (AEST) Monday, April 24th, 2017 Students in Year 10, 11 and 12 are only applicable to enter. Eight students will be chosen to promote TSXPO on either Saturday July 15 or Sunday July 16 (four students on each day). The selected students will be sent a social media posting schedule to follow in the days leading up to/during the event. They will be promoting the event through their own, personal, social media accounts. The ambassador who generates the most social media hype leading up to the event and on the day could win a $100 MYER VOUCHER! The runners-up will each receive a $50 EVENT CINEMAS VOUCHER!   In 2016, up to 26,000 people attended TSXPO over the two days, making this an incredible opportunity for students. As we liaise with some of Australia’s leading Universities, Employers, Training Colleges and VET providers, this is an invaluable reference to add to a student’s CV/University application. Each of the eight students selected will receive a certificate for their time spent assisting us with the event.
