Indigenous Plumbing Apprenticeship and Commercial Cookery Apprenticeship

As per our conversation earlier today.  Please see apprenticeship vacancies below.  If you have interested Year 12 students, please get them to apply online (as per below) ASAP!.   Also email me their names so I can keep an eye out for them.  
Indigenous Plumbing Apprenticeship
East Coast Apprenticeships are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable indigenous applicant to commence fulltime plumbing apprenticeship within the Bundaberg region!   Based on government requirements, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply!  The successful applicant will be required to start ASAP!

Duties Include:
·         Read plans and calculate plumbing quantities/ Cut and join sheet metal
·         Use plumbing hand and power tools/ Locate and clear blockages.
·         Install gas piping systems /LPG systems in caravans, mobile homes and mobile workplaces
·         Select and install roof sheeting and wall cladding
·         Install and commission water heating systems, set out and install water services
·         Install stormwater and sub-soil drainage systems/below ground sanitary drainage systems
·         Install domestic treatment plants

Requirements:
·         Be committed to completing a 4 year Certificate III in Plumbing apprenticeship
·         Be hard working and reliable
·         Be available to work some overtime and Saturday's as required
·         Construction White Card
·         CAR and LICENCE

Commercial Cookery Apprenticeship
Calling all kitchen hands!! We need you! Are you interested in taking your career to the next level with a Commercial Cookery Apprenticeship?
EastCoast Apprenticeships currently have a position available for a Commercial Cook Apprentice based in Bundaberg
This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent as a qualified Commercial Cook. As with any Hospitality position, working hours will vary and there may be opportunities for overtime, which would include penalty rates.
The applicant:
·         Must be hard working and reliable
·         Must be willing to work weekends
·         Must be willing to commit to completing your fulltime 3 year apprenticeship
·         Previous experience or courses an advantage
·         Must have car and licence
