TAFE at School Update...We announced the launch of limited additional funding a couple of weeks ago for students to be able to access a 2nd VETiS subsidised qualification.

Dear Schools,

With the end of the year drawing near, I wanted to gently remind you that students can continue to apply for TAFE at Schools places. We are continuing to confirm enrolments with students, with Naomi providing you with an updated list of your students and identifying where they are at in the enrolment process. 

We have been sending all of our key email communications from our shared inbox; schools.eastcoast@tafe.qld.edu.au these emails include course cancellation notices, funding updates and filled classes - so please make sure you have added this email to your address book and are checking for the important information as it is sent. Any further course cancellations will be confirmed with you by the end of this week.

We announced the launch of limited additional funding a couple of weeks ago for students to be able to access a 2^nd VETiS subsidised qualification. I have included the table below which shows the available qualifications. Even if your students are studying a VETiS course at school or through another provider, they can access this funding to study an additional course with us simultaneously. Please encourage your students to apply the same way through ourhttps://tafeapply.com website. 

We are continuing to make developments to our new Pathways System and next year we will see the implementation of progress reporting and attendance reporting embedded into Pathways. You will be able to view these details when courses commence. Most VETiS courses will commence the week of 6^th February 2017, with some commencing the 30^th January. We will be communicating these details to you and students over the next few weeks.
